A breast cancer diagnosis affects an entire family. Four years ago, early detection through an annual mammogram saved my life—and gave me the chance to celebrate my daughter Emily’s wedding, Julia’s law school graduation, and the birth of my granddaughter.
Every woman deserves that same opportunity. Yet access to annual mammograms and early detection can still depend on where a woman lives or whether she has health insurance.
