Executive Team

In March 2026, The Rose appointed Katherine Parsley as an Interim Chief Executive Officer to replace Dorothy Gibbons who announced her retirement at the end of 2025 after 40 years of service to fight for medically underserved patients to receive the same quality of breast care as those that are insured. Katherine is a seasoned non-profit leader, having served as the Executive Director of Crime Stoppers of Houston and the Interim CEO of San Jose Clinic, Faith in Practice, and Bo’s Place. Katherine, who is not only an experienced nonprofit leader, is a member of the Boards of Directors of Bridges to Life and the Glasscock School of Continuing Education at Rice University. She serves as a visiting judge and as an Associate Municipal Judge, and is a certified mediator, advanced arbitrator, and FINRA arbitrator. She is proud to teach at Sam Houston State University in the Criminal Justice school. She will continue to lead The Rose in leadership during this transitional time until a permanent CEO is appointed.
