Vendor Security Breach
It is important to know that The Rose systems were not breached and no patient medical information was compromised. ERCM, a third-party vendor, that provides revenue cycle management services nationwide, is contracted with The Rose to verify patient insurance. ERCM experienced a system breach and after conducting a forensic analysis determined that some of our patient information was on their system and could have been impacted by the breach.
ERCM is notifying patients on behalf of all their clients about the breach per regulatory guidelines. The letter the patients receive provides information regarding the breach and instructions on who to contact for more information along with information about complimentary credit monitoring services.
