Some folks have been with us for decades,” said CEO & Co-Founder Dorothy Gibbons. “We started this event over 25 years ago with only a handful of people. Today the Shrimp Boil continues to rely on volunteers from the community, nearly 200 people who share a common goal and who genuinely care about others.”
