Revolution Studio “Spins” for The Rose

Revolution Studio in Sugar Land’s Town Square raised money and heart rates during their recent spinning fundraiser for The Rose. The event was a great example of community support — raising $1025.

The fitness studio learned of The Rose’s work through Nancy Olson, wife of Congressman Pete Olson, who was reminded of the nonprofit’s impact on the community through her friendship with Sasha Klein and Irma Klink, co-owners of Cure & Co., a cancer wellness boutique also in Town Square. The Cure & Co. duo are supporters of The Rose (see feature here on their work and boutique). Nancy’s encouragement led Kym Syma, Revolution Studio’s owner, and staff to contact The Rose.

“Relationships are critical to successful fundraising,” said Domingo Barrios, Chief Development Officer at The Rose, “We rely on friends of The Rose introducing their friends to our work with both the insured and uninsured. We owe a big thanks to everyone who made this connection possible. And we look forward to partnering with other organizations like Revolution Studio who place such a high value on quality and health.”

Fundraising for The Rose is one way to take Me to the Second Power and multiply the impact the nonprofit breast health organization can have on the Houston community and 24 counties.
