Pasadena, TX – [Insert Date] — The Rose is rounding up the community for its most festive event of the year! The 36th Annual Shrimp Boil, set for Saturday, June 21, 2025, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Pasadena Convention Center, brings together supporters, survivors, and auction-loving guests for a high-energy evening of shrimp, sparkle, and giving back.
This year’s theme, Boots & Bling, encourages attendees to come dressed to impress Western-style while dancing the night away to DJ beats, playing games, bidding on one-of-a-kind auction items, and helping The Rose raise over $200,000 for life-saving breast health services.
Held during National Cancer Survivors Month, the event is a celebration of strength, hope, and the unwavering community behind every woman The Rose serves, whether she’s facing diagnosis, treatment, or survivorship.
“This event is pure joy. Survivors, supporters, and first-time guests all come together, not just to raise money, but to lift each other up,” said Dorothy Gibbons, Co-Founder and CEO of The Rose. “We may be enjoying the evening with family and friends, but we never lose sight of why we’re here: to make sure every woman gets the care she needs, when she needs it.”
