Meet Ronnie

Ronnie Pace, a two-time male breast cancer survivor brought forth the reality that men can indeed have the disease. He was first diagnosed in April 2013 following up with his physician about a persistent cough and at the time unaware that men were able to have breast cancer. After his treatment, Ronnie now devotes himself to learning more about the disease and spreads awareness to male breast cancer.

Ronnie joined as a board member for The Rose in 2019. He is a charter member of the MD Anderson Patient and Family Advisory Council and has also helped form the Male Breast Cancer Support Group at the hospital. A frequent public speaker, Pace also worked on proclamations issued by Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner and Texas Governor Greg Abbott spotlighting male breast cancer during the third week of October.
