HOUSTON – Massage Heights Houston Retreats recently announced that the owners have chosen The Rose as the annual Charity of Choice. A two-month campaign includes hosting the Mobile Mammography program at 10 Houston area locations and raising funds through online contests, social media and on site at the 22 Massage Heights Houston locations.
Throughout the month of September, The Rose Mobile Mammography services will be on site at 10 Massage Heights Houston Retreats, providing quality screening mammography for guests and Massage Heights Houston Retreat employees. (See dates and locations below). Massage Heights Houston plans to subsidize the screening costs for its employees as well.
For every minimum of $5 donated to the Rose during the month of September and October, Massage Heights Houston Retreat guests will receive a complimentary “Elevation” such as a Reviving Foot Scrub, Revitalizing Face Massage, Hot Stone Therapy, Active Therapy, Skin Enriching, Skin Refining, or Skin Purifying. Donations can be made on-site or online.
To continue the campaign efforts, Massage Heights Houston Retreats will donate $10 of every massage or facial purchased on each Tuesday during the month of October to The Rose.
Women 35 and older who are not experiencing any breast symptoms or problems can be screened by Mobile Mammography. The Rose accepts more than 55 insurance plans. More information on mammogram eligibility and scheduling can be found online or at any Houston area Massage Heights Retreat.

The Rose, a local nonprofit breast health organization, has identified cost, convenience and the demands of family caregiving as primary reasons for delaying screenings. Overcoming those hurdles has meant 35,000 women each year are provided screenings, diagnostics and patient advocacy and treatment through The Rose’s two clinics and Mobile Mammography services.
“At The Rose, we encourage each woman to think ‘me, too” and make her health a priority. We celebrate when any woman – insured or uninsured — schedules that annual screening.
