What is Giving Tuesday?
Giving Tuesday is an international day of giving. Everyone is invited to participate in his or her own way! Giving Tuesday is a day for people to support their local community and “pay it forward” at the beginning of the holiday season.
When is Giving Tuesday?
Giving Tuesday will be on November 29, 2016 and is always the Tuesday following Thanksgiving.

If you’re looking for ways you can participate with your company, organization or even just group of friends, here are a few ideas on how you can make Giving Tuesday special!
- – Host a fundraiser and see how many mammograms you can sponsor! $150 will pay for 1 uninsured woman’s mammogram.
- – Get together a group of 30 people to raise $30 each for The Rose.
- – Ask your friends to schedule their mammograms! Remember every 3 insured women help pay for 1 uninsured woman.
